For awhile now I've been feeling like my feedback mojo is broken. I've always kind of prided myself on giving good feedback. But lately my feedback has been kind of puny, more on the level of "I liked this!" and maybe quoting a line I liked. Which as an author, I know is better than nothing, but as a reader it doesn't feel like enough ( Read more... )

Touched off by something alliecat8 said, I went off trying to find information about why we do what we do. I found that there's a whole branch of psychology devoted to fiction! I'm so going to study that, right after I learn 50 languages and become an intellectual property lawyer. (ie, never, but it's cool!)
